Keith swept and serviced our 2 stoves and did a fantastic job. They look like new! It was a tricky job with stuck screws and a flue that had come out of the lining in the chimney, but he fixed it all over 2 visits - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely chap and great workmanship

Booked Dan to sweep the chimney. Did an absolutely excellent job. Properly cleaned all the soot out. Repaired surround so it no longer smokes into the room PLUS gave incredibly helpful advice on fires. Highly recommended.

We actually called Dan to repair some damage to the exterior mortar work at the top of our chimney, caused by a tree sapling taking root in it, but while he was here he might as well sweep the chimneys after their winter use as well. He was very knowledgeable, and produced some stuff from the flues that we certainly hadn’t managed to dislodge before! We were very happy with the work, both sweeping and repointing/mortar repair.

Keith was lovely he fit us in very quickly to come and check over our fireplace, was very knowledgeable and happily gave some tips to a first time fireplace owner :) will definitely be returning when it needs a clean.

I had a problem with Bees in the chimney and although Brush Strokes are not a local company to me and therefore would not benefit from me as a customer, Keith took his time to email me twice and phone me regarding my issue with the Bees in my chimney. I think that this shows he has an outstanding customer relationship, very professional and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them. If only I lived in Surrey.

Keith came to inspect our chimney which it turned out did not need sweeping. Keith did not charge us which demonstrates the honesty, service, commitment and most importantly reputation of the company. This 'old fashioned' level of service is a rarity with most companies wanting to charge ridiculous call out charges. I can only vouch for the 5 star rating based on our experience of a really nice, good honest folk... Brush Strokes - Good old British Standards.

We have used Brushstrokes for chimney sweeping for a number of years. We have now used them to fit our woodburning stove. Excellent service. Very clean and tidy workers.
